The GlobalRating Group – a family of rating agencies

The rating agencies RusRating (Russia), KzRating (Kazakhstan), AmRating (Armenia) and AzeriRating (Azerbaijan). were created by Richard Hainsworth and have been brought together in the GlobalRating Group.

In the near future the group plans to add national rating agencies in Ukraine (Ua-Rating) and other CIS regions.

The primary goal of the Global Rating Group is to establish a network of national rating agencies across the CIS, promoting national brands and strengthening the market position of each agency in its own country and the international community.

The Global Rating Group will co-ordinate the activities of these subsidiary agencies, facilitate contacts between financial institutions in various countries, work on attracting investors to the banking sector of each country, and offer subscriptions to analytical reports on individual banks and research covering the banking sector as a whole.

“Banks in any CIS country benefit from having a national rating agency, as do their clients, partners and potential investors” believes Richard Hainsworth, President of the Global Rating Group and the CEO of all subsidiary agencies.

“Each agency will draw solely on local talent,” notes Hainsworth. “For us that is a matter of principle.”

The primary goal of the Global Rating Group is:

1. To contribute to the emergence of a reliable, honest and transparent financial market
2. To establish a network of national rating agencies across the CIS, promoting national brands and strengthening the market position of each agency in its own country
